Real. TrueSample validates all prospective panelists to assure that they are who—and where—they say they are. MarketTools verifies the information panelists provide against extensive databases with objectively validated consumer demographics. MarketTools applies this validation process to all prospective panelists—and to those of our TrueSample Certified partners. As a result of this process, as many as 20 percent of prospective panelists are turned away.

Unique. TrueSample ensures that no respondent can enter a survey twice—no matter which panel they’ve joined– MarketTools ZoomPanel or the panel of a TrueSample Certified Partner. All of the TrueSample Certified panels are de-duplicated against each other, so studies that use multiple panels still have only unique survey takers. In addition we use digital fingerprinting to eliminate and blacklist duplicate respondents and professional survey-takers.

Engaged. MarketTools has introduced new patent-pending data-validation technology that makes it possible to ensure that surveys are only completed by engaged respondents. For example, we correlate survey-taking time and response patterns to identify fraudulent behavior and remove offenders from the data set and the panel.
